The Bernard B. Jacobs Theater in Times Square is one of those classic Broadway spots that somehow manages to feel both historic and lively all at once. It’s a theater that’s seen its fair share of show-stopping moments, from the 2017 musical adaptation of The Band's Visit Show which took home multiple Tony Awards, to the 2011 hit The Book of Mormon that had audiences laughing and talking for ages. The place isn’t just about big productions though; it’s also celebrated for supporting women playwrights, showcasing their work and giving them a platform on a stage that’s seen countless legendary performances.
